Terms of Service

1. SERVICES

American Garage, LLC ("AG," "we," "our") provides garage cleanout, haul-off, donation, organization, and value recovery services ("Services") to residential customers ("Customer," "you") in the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. Services are performed by independent contractor crews under AG's direction.

2. PRICING & PAYMENT

Standard Garage Reset: $699 flat rate. Includes one standard truckload of removal, sorting, donation delivery, and garage reset.

Booking Deposit: $20, refundable with 24 hours' notice of cancellation. Non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled appointment.

Add-On Services: Extra truckloads ($125/each), hazardous items ($29/each), oversized items ($25–$75/each), organization upgrade ($199/hr, 2-hr minimum), driveway cleanout ($299), shed cleanout ($399), estate cleanout (custom quote $1,500–$6,000).

Payment: Balance due upon completion of Services. Accepted methods: credit card, debit card via Stripe. No cash payments accepted.

3. THE STICKER SYSTEM

Prior to your appointment, AG provides a Sticker Kit with four color-coded stickers:

Green (KEEP): Item stays in your garage. Crew resets it neatly.
Blue (DONATE): AG delivers to a local charity. Donation receipt photo provided for tax records.
Red (TRASH): Loaded and hauled to disposal facility.
Yellow (VALUE REVIEW): Customer believes item has resale value. Photos must be uploaded 24 hours before appointment.

Items without stickers will be treated as KEEP by default. It is the Customer's responsibility to sticker all items before the crew arrives.

4. BUYBACK / VALUE REVIEW PROGRAM

Yellow-stickered items are evaluated by AG's AI-powered valuation system using comparable sold-listing data. On the day of service, the crew presents a Value Review checklist with item photos and offer amounts. Customer may accept or decline each offer individually.

Credits: Accepted offers are applied as a discount on your invoice, up to a maximum of $150 per job. Credits are not redeemable for cash.

No Guarantee: Not all items have resale value. AG's valuations are estimates based on market data and are not appraisals. AG is not responsible for accuracy of valuations.

5. SCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

Appointments are scheduled based on crew availability. AG will confirm your appointment within 1 business hour of booking. AG reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, crew availability, or safety concerns with 24 hours' notice.

Customer Cancellation: Cancel 24+ hours before → full deposit refund. Cancel within 24 hours or no-show → deposit forfeited.

6. PROPERTY ACCESS & RESPONSIBILITY

Customer grants AG and its contractor crews access to the garage, driveway, and any other areas necessary to perform Services. Customer is responsible for:

Ensuring safe access to the work area
Removing or securing pets during service
Disclosing hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, propane, Freon appliances)
Accurate stickering of all items

7. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

AG carries general liability insurance covering its operations. However:

AG is not liable for items incorrectly stickered by the Customer.
AG is not liable for pre-existing property damage or items that were already damaged.
AG's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by Customer for the specific Service.
AG is not responsible for items left unstickered if Customer was notified of the stickering requirement.

Before & after photos are taken for documentation purposes. If you believe damage occurred during service, report it within 48 hours to info@americangarage.us with photos.

8. DONATION ITEMS

Blue-stickered items are delivered to local charities selected by AG. AG provides a photo of the donation receipt but does not guarantee tax deductibility. Consult your tax advisor regarding charitable donation deductions.

9. PHOTOS & MARKETING

AG may take before & after photos of the garage for quality assurance and marketing purposes. No photos will include identifiable personal information, addresses, or faces without explicit written consent. Customer may opt out of marketing use by notifying AG before service.

10. DISPUTES

If you are not satisfied with the results, notify AG within 48 hours. AG will work to resolve the issue, which may include a return visit at no additional charge. AG's satisfaction guarantee does not include refunds for completed services.

11. PRIVACY

AG collects name, address, phone, email, and garage photos for service delivery. Customer data is not sold to third parties. Data may be processed by AG's AI systems for valuation purposes. AG retains service records for 3 years.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in Dallas County, Texas.

13. AGREEMENT

By booking a service with American Garage, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
