We collect: name, email, phone, address, garage photos, item descriptions, payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers), and service preferences.

2. How We Use It

To deliver services, process payments, send booking confirmations, communicate about your appointment, generate item valuations, and improve our service. We may use anonymized, aggregated data for market research.

3. AI Processing

Photos and item descriptions you submit may be processed by AI systems for valuation purposes. AI-generated valuations are estimates, not appraisals. Photos are stored securely and not shared publicly.

4. Sharing

We share your information only with: (a) your assigned crew (name, address, appointment time, garage tagger data), (b) payment processor (Stripe), (c) email provider (Resend), (d) as required by law. We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Photos & Marketing

Before & after garage photos may be used for marketing with your consent. No photos will include your face, address signage, or identifiable personal information without explicit written permission. You may opt out at any time by emailing info@americangarage.us.

6. Data Retention

We retain service records for 3 years. Garage photos are retained for 12 months after service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@americangarage.us.

7. Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies for form functionality and analytics. No third-party advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, DKIM-verified email, Stripe PCI-compliant payments). However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
